The Dubai media office confirmed Tuesday that a fire broke out at the United States consulate, which was caused by a  drone-related incident, and no injuries have been reported from the fire as conflict rages in the Middle East.Conflict broke out between Israel, the United States and Iran over the weekend after the U.S. and Israel launched missiles at Iran. Iran has since retaliated by hitting Israel and several American bases in other countries throughout the region.

The media office added in a separate post that the fire has since been extinguished with no injuries reported.
“Dubai authorities reaffirm their commitment to ensuring everyone’s safety and security,” the office added.
The news comes as multiple Middle Eastern countries have been pulled into the conflict recently, including Lebanon, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
