I’ve always wondered what being in front of television cameras lends itself to dumb takes. Normally rational people will spout off things any sane person would know are immediately false. But there’s another dynamic, too: a dumb person accidentally making a smart point, and not recognizing it.
A few weeks ago, I quoted a brilliant point from the X account Millennial Woes: “It’s amazing how much leftist discourse is just them pretending not to understand things, thus making discourse impossible.”
