A recent investigation has revealed how far-left networks, including socialistand communist groups tied to encrypted Signal chats and a “MN ICE Plates” database, mobilized “rapid responders” to track ICE or Border Patrol agents outside Glam Doll Donuts in Minneapolis before the fatal shooting of 37-year-old Alex Pretti by CBP agents.
After the shooting, groups like BreakThrough News, Party for Socialism and Liberation, People’s Forum, and Democratic Socialists of America rapidly framed Pretti as a martyr, called for protests, general strikes, and “abolish ICE,” using propaganda videos and alerts. Reacting to this shadowy network, Vice President JD Vance called it “engineered chaos” enabled by local authorities.
