House Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., said Thursday he plans to push for restoring federal funding cut by the Department of Government Efficiency, known as DOGE, and indicated he would support increasing funding beyond previous levels for some programs.
Schumer made the remarks when asked whether he would work to replenish funding for the Department of Housing and Urban Development during a forum hosted by the Center for American Progress.
