In some tragic news to hit just as 2025 draws to a close, Tatiana Schlossberg, the granddaughter of former President John F. Kennedy, has passed away at the age of 35 from acute myeloid leukemia. Schlossberg’s tragic, though not entirely unexpected, passing came on Tuesday, December 30.
As background, Schlossberg revealed in an essay for The New Yorker on November 22, 2025, that she was suffering from the acute case of deadly leukemia and that her doctors had told her she likely had less than a year to live, though it was not apparent at the time that “less than a year” meant just over a month.
