The nation’s Border Patrol agents and Minnesota’s police and peace officers condemned Democrat Minnesota Governor Tim Walz’s dangerous rhetoric attacking law enforcement following Wednesday’s fatal shooting of a driver who hit a federal agent during a protest.
Gov. Walz, who routinely demonizes U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents for enforcing the nation’s immigration laws – calling them “modern-day Gestapo” – stepped up his incendiary rhetoric Wednesday following the incident, to the point of threatening to deploy state National Guard to oppose the efforts of ICE’s federal agents in his state.
