The Buffalo Bills have fired head coach Sean McDermott after his team failed Saturday to advance in the NFL playoffs. The firing was announced Monday, ending the 51-year-old McDermott’s six-year tenure with the team.
His firing is at least the ninth this season. Pittsburgh Steelers’ long-time coach stepped down after his team lost in the first round of this year’s playoffs.
General Manager Brandon Beane will retain his job and find McDermott’s replacement, according to Yahoo News.
Among the other firings was John Harbaugh with the Ravens.
