Cybersecurity researchers have found surveillance backdoors in Chinese carrier routers made by Zbtlink and the same software in a different Zbtlink-made router sold through Amazon.Chinese law requires telecom and internet companies to provide technical assistance to police and state-security agencies. In an Aug. 27 report, cybersecurity firm VulnCheck said it found two hidden programs in an $88 router bought through Amazon from a U.S. seller. One, which the researchers named Speakingstone, sends information about the router to a remote server and can receive instructions to redirect internet traffic, obtain login credentials, or take control of the device. The second, named Darklantern, can…
A federal Clinton judge temporarily blocked the Trump administration from cutting off roughly $241 million in federal homelessness funds to the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority (LAHSA) following a high-profile dispute over fraud allegations and financial accountability. U.S. District Judge David O. Carter ruled Thursday that HUD moved too abruptly, with no replacement ready to take over. “LAHSA may be dysfunctional,” Carter wrote. “But thousands of unhoused individuals rely on these services.” The fraudsters especially rely on it. The program is near-worthless and mostly feeds fraud. Los Angeles, CA USA – November 19, 2021: A homeless encampment on a sidewalk…
Earlier this week, the Canadian taxpayer found out that they were supporting, with their hard-earned money, an organization that wouldn’t call the deadliest terror attack in human history “terrorism.” Americans found out about it, too, and they were pretty unhappy — especially since we’re approaching the 25th anniversary of the attacks and our neighbors to the north were telling reporters with their national broadcaster that 9/11 was a situation where “hijackings led to passenger jet crashes.” Now, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation is reversing course and calling terror attacks “terrorism.” All it took was international outrage and the United States ambassador…

(Will Porter, Antiwar.com) Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reportedly held direct talks with a senior Hamas member during the deadly 2014 war in Gaza, according to Israeli media. The dialogue was said to have been arranged “behind the backs of the establishment.” Reported by the Hebrew-language outlet Walla on Thursday, the backchannel contacts with Hamas occurred during separate negotiations then taking place in Egypt, those led by Israel’s military and security chiefs. The secret talks, however, were reportedly spearheaded in private by businessman Shlomi Fogel, a close associate of Netanyahu. Fogel was said to have facilitated contacts with Ghazi Hamad, a…
(Kyle Anzalone, Antiwar.com) President Donald Trump described CIA Director John Ratcliffe’s trip to Russia as routine engagement. He went on to dismiss the possibility that Russia could attack a NATO member. On Thursday, Trump was asked by Axios reporter Barak Ravid if he was concerned that Russian President Vladimir Putin would authorize an attack on a NATO state. “I am not concerned … at all. There is no problem,” the President replied. Earlier this week, former Russian Deputy Foreign Minister and current Kremlin adviser, Andrei Fedorov, warned the UK that “unknown sources” could attack arms facilities making weapons for Ukraine. “Something…

—– Writes Ted Galen Carpenter: One of the great foreign policy disappointments of Donald Trump’s first term was the failure to advance his initial promising initiative to begin normalizing relations with the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK). Trump had abandoned the threats and bluster toward Pyongyang that marked his early months in office. Instead, he moved to open a personal dialogue with North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un and facilitate productive negotiations on several important issues. That approach led to an unprecedented U.S.-DPRK summit meeting in Singapore on June 12, 2018 and, later on, to a famous sight: the U.S. president crossing…

Then Peter took Jesus aside and began to rebuke him, “God forbid, Lord! No such thing shall ever happen to you.” He turned and said to Peter, “Get behind me, Satan! You are an obstacle to me. You are thinking not as God does, but as human beings do.”Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wishes to come after me…

[embedded content] Plants do not call CO2 a pollutant. They call it dinner. In this presentation from EIKE-17 in Halle an der Saale (26–27 June 2026), CERES co-founder Dr. Willie Soon makes a controversial but thought-provoking case for both CO2 and fossil fuels – “from demon to dinner.” Many scientists and policymakers treat rising CO2 as a harmful air pollutant driven almost entirely by human industrial activity. Dr. Soon takes a polemical approach, systematically examining the main arguments and suggesting that the evidence may point in the opposite direction. You may not agree with every point, but the case he…
The Ukraine-Russia Conflict: Strategic Failures and the Specter of Nuclear Catastrophe A conflict that began in the Donbas region of eastern Ukraine has expanded into a widening confrontation between Russia and NATO-aligned states, according to a report published on FreeWestMedia.com. Russian President Vladimir Putin’s refusal to acknowledge the full scope of the war is eroding deterrence and potentially paving the way for a nuclear exchange, the report stated. The report, published August 27, 2026, asserts that the conflict has moved from the Donbas battlefield to deep within Russian territory, with long-range Western-supplied missiles and drones striking oil facilities, airports, and…

Report: U.S. Shifts from Military Strikes to Economic Warfare Against Iran The U.S. is not expected to launch new military attacks on Iran and will instead focus on economic warfare, according to a report by The Cradle. The report, citing unnamed officials, states that the shift in strategy comes after recent exchanges and aims to pressure Tehran through sanctions and financial measures. Officials said the decision reflects a preference for non-kinetic means to address ongoing tensions without escalating direct conflict. This pivot follows months of military confrontation that began with a U.S.-Israeli air campaign on Feb. 28, 2026, and continued through…

Zinc futures on the London Metal Exchange (LME) touched a four-year high this week, according to exchange data, before a slight pullback on Thursday, Aug. 27. The industrial metal reversed course Thursday, falling 0.8% to $3,861 per ton – halting a seven-day rally, according to intraday trading figures. Analysts describe the physical supply of zinc as extremely thin, with declining mine output and operational disruptions contributing to the tightness. The metal is used primarily for galvanizing steel to prevent corrosion, making it the fourth most widely used metal behind iron, aluminum and copper, according to Amine Bouchentouf’s “Commodities For Dummies” [1].…
“UNBREAKABLE” on Bright U: The DNA perfect storm – what happens when radiation meets a compromised repair system “UNBREAKABLE” Chapter 1 introduced Mike Adams’ “binary weapon system” hypothesis: the potential convergence of lingering SARS-CoV-2 spike protein exposure and radioactive fallout from a regional nuclear conflict. Radiation can damage DNA, including creating dangerous double-strand breaks. The body relies on repair pathways such as NHEJ, which works rapidly, and homologous recombination (HR), which provides more precise repair. The proposed combined threat is that SARS-CoV-2-related proteins could interfere with DNA damage-response mechanisms while radiation simultaneously increases DNA damage. The interview highlighted reported effects…
Big Pharma’s deceptive cancer guidelines: How the American Cancer Society pushes toxic diets while suppressing the truth The ACS focuses on weight loss and exercise while ignoring the real cancer drivers: toxic food additives, GMOs, pesticides, chemtrails and mRNA spike protein damage—all part of the globalist depopulation playbook. The organization promotes pesticide-laden, GMO-contaminated “plant-based” diets while demonizing nutrient-dense animal foods (grass-fed meat, organ meats) that actually fight cancer. It blames natural red meat while ignoring the true carcinogens: processed meats with sodium nitrite, factory-farmed hormones and Bill Gates’ lab-grown/fake food agenda. It also discourages vitamins (D3, selenium), iodine and anti-cancer…
The forgotten prescription: Study identifies dietary keys to protecting the aging brain Diet directly impacts cognitive aging, with a study finding that diets rich in fiber, unsaturated fats and specific micronutrients (like vitamins A and E) are linked to sharper memory and better brain health in older adults. A significant shift in Alzheimer’s research is underway, moving from a focus on unsuccessful pharmacological cures toward lifestyle and nutritional prevention as the most promising strategy. A widespread “nutrition gap” exists, as the study revealed that older adults commonly lack these brain-protective nutrients in their diets while often consuming high amounts of…
A scientific review of 29 studies published in the journal Frontiers in Nutrition has identified specific foods and nutrients associated with reduced inflammation and pain in endometriosis, according to the report. The review found that omega-3 fatty acids, polyphenol-rich produce, and certain vitamins and minerals were linked to lower inflammation, while red and processed meat, trans fats, high-glycemic foods, and excess omega-6 fatty acids were associated with greater inflammation. Endometriosis occurs when tissue similar to the uterine lining grows outside the uterus, on the ovaries, fallopian tubes, and pelvic cavity, according to the review. Estrogen fuels the condition and inflammation…
The frailty-fighting superfood: How quercetin in apples and onions builds resilient aging The research emphasizes improving the quality of life (“health span”) and preventing frailty—characterized by exhaustion, weakness and weight loss—rather than just extending lifespan. Analyzing decades of data from the Framingham Heart Study, researchers found a strong link between higher dietary intake of plant compounds called flavonols and a reduced risk of developing frailty later in life. A specific flavonol named quercetin showed the strongest effect. For every extra 10 mg of quercetin consumed daily, the risk of frailty dropped by 35%. Quercetin fights frailty through its powerful antioxidant…

The world lost some powerful and beloved icons this week. First, there was Dolly Parton, whose grace, talent, and charm inspired so many. Seeing their accomplishments, hearing their encouragements, motivated others to work toward their own dreams and goals. “Republicans pounced.” It is such a worn journalistic trope that it has become the object of mockery whenever some brave but foolish member of the media dares to use it yet again. But what if the subject who supposedly pounced is not even a Republican? Well, that is apparently no problem for the Philadelphia Inquirer which conveniently relabeled the person in question, in this case Robert F. Kennedy Jr., as a Republican via the use of blatant misinformation despite the reporters piously lecturing the readers about, yes, misinformation. This mighty feat of stupendous hypocrisy was performed on Friday by Aubrey…
The revolution apparently ends when the landlord wakes up. Portland’s self-proclaimed “president of Antifa” just ran into a force more powerful than a black-bloc mob: an angry landlord who wanted peace inside her own home. Michael James Duntley, 59, better known in Portland protest circles as “Spider Mike,” “Big Spider Mike,” or “Wider Mike,” was captured on a profanity-laced livestream arguing with a woman who identified herself as his landlord after she confronted him over screaming, yelling, and banging things around in a garage. The woman said Duntley was terrifying her. Duntley’s excuse? He and his online buddies were simply…
—– Writes Bill Madden: . The Constitution was created by prescient American leaders hundreds of years ago. They designed it to keep our central government weak to preserve the freedom of the people. Our country was built on the god-given rights of “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness” for the people. It was as though they had learned from history that powerful humans would one day attempt to enslave the people and assume control of our country to manage it for their benefit exclusively. These powerful humans would, in essence, use the money and blood of the masses to…
