On December 16, 2025, U.S. District Judge Richard Leon, appointed by President Bush, denied the National Trust for Historic Preservation’s request for a temporary halt to underground construction on President Trump’s privately funded White House ballroom, allowing the work to continue. For context, the 90,000 sq ft structure will replace the demolished East Wing and is designed to host indoor events for foreign dignitaries. Work on the above-ground structure will start in April 2026 at the earliest, and the project is set to be finished in the summer of 2028. Explaining his thoughts, U.S. District Judge Richard J. Over the last 11 months, there has been a transformation in global security as President Joe Biden’s weak and incompetent foreign policy was replaced by that of one of the strongest US presidents in history, Donald Trump. The stability and peace resulting from Trump’s strong national security leadership is his greatest Christmas gift to America. It is almost hard to remember the worldwide chaos and malaise caused by Joe Biden. America’s enemies had a field day exploiting the Biden administration’s inept national security policies that prioritized climate change and poorly treated key US allies like Israel and Saudi Arabia. The…
Help your enemies and harm your friends. That’s the kind of big-brain, third-eye-opened, decalcified-pineal-gland (real eyes realize real lies) type of thinking that made the post-war conservative movement into the political juggernaut it is today. I mean, just check out the Conservative Inc. plan to save America: Step 1: Hand out pocket Constitutions. Step 2: Give liberals huge sums of tax money. Step 3: Denounce Trump for being mean. Step 4: Save the Country. Brilliant stuff, truly. Though, as an inveterate Bad Thinker and Dangerous Mind™, I do have a few quibbles. What if, and hear me out, instead of…
When asked why he robbed banks, Willie Sutton said, “Because that’s where the money is.” The Indo-Pacific is of vital importance to U.S. national security because that is where the power is. A state’s power is determined by many factors, but skilled population size and Gross Domestic Product (GDP) are often used as the two key ones. Both are in abundance in the Indo-Pacific. In the region, there is about 60% of the world’s population and approximately half of the world’s GDP. In addition, the major states of the Indo-Pacific, India, Japan, the People’s Republic of China (PRC), South Korea, and Taiwan, are centers…
As the country heads towards the anniversary of the 250th year of the great American experiment, we should be reminded of the democratic system in place that allowed this country to prosper. America’s central idea is rule by the will of the people, which faces an ever present, existential crisis: we need honest, verifiable, and trustworthy elections. Earlier this year, President Trump spearheaded much-needed election reform in a widely praised Executive Order intended to not just secure elections, but also to create a system that produces results that voters can trust. The central tenets for reform can be distilled into…
Leave it to the socialists tackle a legitimate issue, then try to fix it with every wrong lesson in history. That’s where we are with Senator Bernie Sanders this week. He’s directionally correct in thinking artificial intelligence deserves the attention of the government, but, as usual, wrong about everything else. His idea is utterly brainless. He wants a “construction moratorium” on artificial intelligence data centers, the very real infrastructure needed to run the vast AI models the world is starting to rely on. In a statement, Sanders started fine. He noted, “AI and robotics are the most transformative technologies in the history…
Scandal has struck at the heart of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), where whispers of power plays and unethical demands are shaking the foundation of an agency tasked with protecting our borders.Reports suggest Corey Lewandowski, a temporary special government employee at DHS and close ally of Secretary Kristi Noem, repeatedly pushed to obtain a federally issued gun and badge—privileges reserved for trained law enforcement—while allegedly retaliating against career officials who resisted his demands. This saga began in the spring when Lewandowski reportedly approached Tom Feeley, then a contender for ICE director, with a pointed question about securing a firearm…
In a move that’s shaking up conservative airwaves, Salem Radio Network has named Scott Jennings and Alex Marlow as the new voices for its coveted midday slot, once held by the late Charlie Kirk.Following Kirk’s tragic assassination on September 10, Salem has decided to fill the influential noon to 3 p.m. ET block—previously a platform for icons like Rush Limbaugh—with two prominent conservative figures starting January 5. This isn’t just a changing of the guard; it’s a pivotal moment for a movement grappling with internal divisions and whispers of conspiracy surrounding Kirk’s untimely death. Imagine solving a Wordle puzzle and, less than an hour later, allegedly committing a heinous crime that shocks the nation.Tyler Robinson, a 22-year-old accused of assassinating conservative icon Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University on Sept. 10, reportedly bragged about cracking a daily word game just 55 minutes before the fatal shooting, sparking a firestorm of debate over radicalization, media transparency, and justice. In the days leading up to the tragedy, Robinson maintained an eerie normalcy, swapping Wordle scores with friends, joining Discord game nights, and even attending a party with high school buddies. Unsettling Calm Before the Storm Yet,…
Washington is abuzz with a striking decision from the Trump White House that’s bound to turn heads. The administration has unveiled new plaques under the portraits of former Presidents Joe Biden and Barack Obama in the Presidential Walk of Fame, a gallery honoring past leaders, using pointed language to challenge their legacies with classic Trump rhetoric. These recently installed plaques in the historic display echo President Donald Trump’s well-known criticisms of his Democratic predecessors. Sharp Critiques of Biden’s Tenure The plaque beneath Biden’s portrait doesn’t mince words, labeling him “Sleepy Joe Biden” and declaring him “the worst President in American History.”…
Jared Isaacman, a billionaire private astronaut, has just been confirmed as NASA’s new administrator, promising a turbocharged push for lunar dominance. On Wednesday, December 17, 2025, the U.S. Senate voted 67-30 to install Isaacman as the 15th leader of NASA under President Donald Trump, marking a bold shift toward accelerating space exploration. For American taxpayers, this confirmation could mean a hefty financial commitment as Isaacman’s vision to outpace China in returning to the Moon by 2028 will likely demand significant budget increases for NASA programs. This isn’t just about stargazing; it’s about real dollars diverted from other priorities if Congress doesn’t keep…
Is the FBI crumbling under its own weight, leaving American safety hanging in the balance?Reports from multiple sources suggest a major upheaval at the FBI, with Director Kash Patel facing intense scrutiny over leadership failures and Deputy Director Dan Bongino reportedly already out the door. For hardworking taxpayers, this chaos at the top of our nation’s premier law enforcement agency could mean real consequences, like delayed investigations or weakened responses to threats, potentially increasing legal exposure for communities already stretched thin. This isn’t just bureaucratic drama—it’s a question of whether the FBI can protect us when it’s barely holding itself…
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., just dropped a bombshell on the Trump administration’s latest military briefing, calling it a complete farce. The controversy swirls around a classified session held on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at the U.S. Capitol, where lawmakers from both the House and Senate were briefed on the administration’s aggressive boat strikes targeting suspected narcoterrorists involved in drug trafficking. For hardworking American taxpayers, this isn’t just a policy spat—it’s a question of whether their hard-earned dollars are funding strikes based on solid evidence or mere conjecture, potentially risking billions in military costs and international legal exposure if these operations go…
Ghislaine Maxwell, once a close confidant of the notorious Jeffrey Epstein, is back in the headlines with a bold move to upend her 20-year sex-trafficking conviction. She’s asking a federal court to vacate or adjust her sentence, claiming fresh evidence proves she didn’t get a fair shake. This isn’t just legal theater; it’s a high-stakes gamble that could rewrite her future.Maxwell filed her request on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, after exhausting all direct appeals, alleging that newly surfaced records from her trial reveal critical flaws in the process. For hardworking taxpayers footing the bill for endless court battles, this latest…
Newly released FBI memos have blown the lid off a decade-old saga involving allegations of pay-to-play schemes between Hillary Clinton’s State Department and the Clinton Foundation. This story, pieced together from internal investigative files, centers on suspicions that foreign donations to the Foundation may have swayed U.S. foreign policy, yet every probe was stonewalled by FBI and DOJ brass, leaving no charges filed. For American taxpayers, this is a gut punch—potentially millions in foreign funds influencing policy decisions could mean a direct financial burden if deals like the Uranium One sale to Russia compromised national interests. From a conservative standpoint, it’s…

The answer to two questions will shape the future of AI in the United States: Who gets to write the national rules for AI development?Who gets to write the rules for how AI is adopted at the state level? This is not a pop quiz. These are the same questions that we had to answer in the late 1700s with respect to shipping, in the late 1800s with respect to the railroads, and in the late 1900s with respect to the Internet. The right answers then, remain the correct answers today. The Executive Order on AI announced by President Trump provides a clear answer to the…

(Thérèse Boudreaux, The Center Square) The U.S. House passed the Lower Health Care Premiums for All Americans Act in a party line, 216-211, vote Wednesday, sending the bill to its likely demise in the Senate. The bill, which will almost certainly fail to reach the Senate’s 60-vote threshold, is Republicans’ alternative to extending enhancements to the Obamacare Premium Tax Credit. Congress temporarily expanded the PTC during the COVID-19 pandemic, and its reversion to original pre-pandemic levels will partially contribute to rising premiums in 2026. “For too long, Democrats have forced hardworking American taxpayers to bail out big health insurance companies for…

Apparently blatant editorializing in place of straight news now seems to be becoming increasingly the rule not the exception at the Associated Press. The latest example of AP breaking its own rules against opinionating in news stories is so blatantly absurd as to be laughable. The AP on Thursday actually took the November inflation rate of 2.7% which was below the expected 3.1% and somehow turned that good news into a negative. Check the headline on AP reporters Paul Wiseman’s and Anne D’Innocenzio’s editorial poorly disguised as an article, “US says price increases eased last month but data may be…
