Islam is very progressive. That’s why it’s so aligned with the Left. And while ‘Islamophobes’ may point out that Islam is literally a religion of slavery, it’s important to emphasize that it’s progressive modern day slavery. CBS on Sunday evening postponed the airing of a story on its long-form news show “60 Minutes” in which migrants sent by the Trump administration to El Salvador’s maximum-security prison, CECOT, were interviewed. The story was going to feature correspondent Sharyn Alfonsi interviewing “some of the now released deportees, who describe the brutal and torturous conditions, according to FoxNews.com. “Earlier this year, the Trump administration deported hundreds of Venezuelan migrants to El Salvador, a country most had no ties to, claiming they were terrorists. December 19 was The View’s last new show of the year, so it was the perfect time to examine how the ABC News program (the number one rated day-time talk show) was presenting political discussions to their audience in 2025. Over the course of the year (the later half of Season 28 and the first half of Season 29), the predominantly Democratic / anti-Trump cast spoke politics with 128 liberal guests and only 2 conservatives*. Between January 6 and December 19, 2025, The View had a total of 348 guests. Of those 128 left-leaning guests, 25 of them were Democratic…

That is the case for both of these teams as the…

THE REAL WELFARE FRAUD More shocking than the fraud in Minnesota that has been making headlines is the real federal welfare spending. It has soared by 765%. That is more than twice as fast as total federal spending. In 1975, the country’s real per-capita gross domestic product had grown by 142%. It now costs $1.4 trillion annually. Were that money doled out evenly to the 19.8 million families the government defines as poor, each household would receive more than $70,000 a year.” Who would go back to work? …do we really appreciate what we are letting drift away? Though written from a distinctly Australian perspective, there is a great article from the Australian Naval Institute, Pax Americana to Pax Sinica, that would be a great way to start your week. What I find most useful is that it efficiently outlines why, from Washington, to Brussels, to Canberra, serious people should not simply shrug their shoulders as the U.S. Navy, foolishly, has allowed itself to become the world’s #2 navy, and fading. It should give you a few strong point to respond to people who don’t want to take the time…
USCCB President Paul Coakley appears on CBS’s Face the Nation to criticize President Trump’s immigration enforcement The leadership of the U.S. Catholic Church is once again taking aim at President Trump’s immigration enforcement agenda, this time accusing the administration of “spreading fear” across immigrant communities as federal authorities ramp up deportations and interior enforcement. (José Niño, Headline USA) While publicly denouncing military aid to Ukraine as corrupt, Rep. Cory Mills, R-Fla., was privately selling millions of dollars in grenades to a Ukrainian government firm now under investigation, according to an explosive investigation by journalist Roger Sollenberger. Mills has emerged as a leading voice against federal assistance to Ukraine. “This is but one example of U.S. tax dollars that has been corruptly stolen by the Ukrainian government,” Mills declared in a February 2024 social media statement, referencing Pentagon audit findings and lamenting “millions in suitcases, shoe boxes, kickback from companies to procurement heads.” During this same…
U.S. District Judge Gary Brown A federal judge appointed by President Trump has delivered a blistering condemnation of U.S. immigration authorities, going so far as to threaten the government with contempt of court. U.S. District Judge Gary Brown, appointed to the bench by Trump in 2019, issued a 24-page ruling excoriating the Department of Homeland Security for what he described as “putrid and cramped” conditions under which Immigration and Customs Enforcement detained an illegal immigrant on Long Island. Brown warned that ICE could face contempt of court after repeatedly ignoring judicial orders and holding a detainee overnight in a cramped, filthy…
The Los Angeles Superior Court has come up with a great idea — a moving courtroom. It may not seem like it, but I do like to give credit where it’s due. So this week I’m giving kudos to the Los Angeles Superior Court for actually coming up with a very cool thing: a traveling court “pop-up exhibit” called Court Commons. It’s sort of an interactive court museum with fun exhibits and self-help resources “housed in a custom-built trailer that extends into 2,000 square feet of exhibition space.”It’s a judicial Transformer! And, best of all, there’s the “Wear the Robe” experience in which…

European countries are railing against President Donald Trump’s decision to tap Republican Louisiana Gov. Jeff Landry as U.S. special envoy to Greenland. Trump has repeatedly floated annexing the self-governing territory under Danish control throughout the first year of his second term, citing its strategic security and economic assets. A rapper’s surprise appearance at AmericaFest 2025 found her sharing the “utmost respect and admiration” for the president, vice president, and an administration “full of people with heart and soul.” Outside of leftist echo chambers, President Donald Trump has routinely shown himself to be a positive force for unifying figures from all backgrounds. That quality reached a new level on Sunday when Turning Point USA CEO Erika Kirk invited Nicki Minaj on stage at AmFest, where the rapper praised Trump and Vice President J.D. Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass was buried under backlash after a tone-deaf post lamenting the “most vulnerable” illegal aliens in her community. The Democrat’s post on social media last week touted a holiday donation drive for families not feeling “safe” in the California city, and it generated criticism on X that continued to reverberate for days. “For many immigrant families, this holiday season is marked by absence and fear. Loved ones are missing due to immigration enforcement actions, and many families do not feel safe leaving their homes to participate in holiday traditions,” Bass wrote in the post, accompanied by…

California Congressman Eric Swalwell has accumulated an extraordinary record of controversy: his well-documented association with the Chinese intelligence asset known as “Fang Fang,” his removal from the House Intelligence Committee over national-security concerns, and his unforgettable on-air incident during a 2019 Hardball with Chris Matthews interview. The question should be: why is anybody putting any stock in this CPI report at all? The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) basically made the data up. We knew that the data was suspect, given that the BLS didn’t collect data for October due to the government shutdown. Reading through the BLS notes, we get some idea of how the agency parsed the data. It doesn’t exactly increase confidence in the report’s veracity. In the CPI report summary, the BLS offers a quick overview of how it handled the mass of missing October data. “BLS did not collect survey data for October…
