    A 10-minute daily exercise routine performed lying face-up was linked to measurable improvements in flexibility, agility, and standing balance in healthy young adults after two weeks, according to a study published April 29 in PLOS ONE [1]. The program, designed by researchers at Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology, involved abdominal activation, pelvic bridging, and leg movements mimicking the stance phase of walking. No changes were observed in grip strength, standing long jump, or sprint speed, leading researchers to attribute the gains to improved neural coordination rather than muscle growth [1].
