    FBI Director Kash Patel has filed a $250 million defamation suit against The Atlantic and reporter Sarah Fitzpatrick over a recent report, alleging it contains false and defamatory claims published with “actual malice.”

    The April 17  hit piece, titled “The FBI Director Is MIA,”  alleges that Patel “is known to drink to the point of obvious intoxication,” and has had to have meetings and briefings “rescheduled for later in the day as a result of his alcohol-fueled nights.”
