A San Diego school district has reversed its suspension of a high school junior for displaying a pro-ICE poster after free speech advocates intervened on the boy’s behalf.
Back in February, the Torrey Pines High School student put a poster reading “We ❤️ I.C.E. – Real Americans” up in a common area where political material is allegedly routinely displayed. Nonetheless, the school had the poster taken down and suspended the junior, saying his pro-ICE message amounted to “harassment, threats, and intimidation.”
