At the “Hands Off Iran” demonstration, protesters held signs opposing the war and criticizing Israel, President Donald Trump, and Democratic Sen. John Fetterman. In footage that spread widely on Thursday, one speaker praised Hamas and Hezbollah and argued that a “strong Iranian state” is necessary to sustain their fight against Israel.
In the clip, filmed by Philadelphia-based conservative activist Frankie Scales, the masked speaker drew loud applause while saying the group celebrates American deaths and wants to bring the United States “to its knees.”
