U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said on Friday the war with Iran will last for about two to four more weeks, according to a report from Axios. His comments were reportedly made before G7 foreign ministers.
He later told the press that the war would last for “weeks, not months.”
Rubio said that he does not think the U.S. will need “any ground troops” in Iran.
“We are ahead of schedule on most of them [objectives], and we can achieve them without any ground troops, without any,” Rubio said.
