Susie Wiles fumes over ‘hit piece’ from Vanity Fair

President Donald Trump’s chief of staff, Susie Wiles, on Tuesday excoriated Vanity Fair over an article it published that cast her as a pointed critic of the administration.”The article published early this morning is a disingenuously framed hit piece on me and the finest President, White House staff, and Cabinet in history,” Wiles posted on X. ” Significant context was disregarded and much of what I, and others, said about the team and the President was left out of the story. I assume, after reading it, that this was done to paint an overwhelmingly chaotic and negative narrative about the President and our team.”
Wiles sat for a number of interviews with Vanity Fair’s Chris Whipple. The outlet published an article on Tuesday entitled “Susie Wiles, JD Vance, and the ‘Junkyard Dogs’: The White House Chief of Staff On Trump’s Second Term (Part 1 of 2)”
The article included quotes categorizing Vice President JD Vance as a “conspiracy theorist,” claiming Trump’s personality was that of an alcoholic, and labeling Office of Management and Budget Director Russ Vought a “zealot.”
Wiles did not deny any of the quotes.
