Well, it didn’t take long. Within hours of the horrific, gut-wrenching massacre on Sydney’s Bondi Beach — where at least 15 people, including a child, a rabbi, and a Holocaust survivor, were allegedly gunned down during a Hanukkah celebration — the Australian government’s answer was as predictable as a kangaroo in the outback: more gun control.
That’s right. The same country that already boasts some of the strictest gun laws in the developed world immediately jumped to announce even stricter ones. Because obviously, when alleged terrorists manage to slip through intelligence cracks, the solution is to punish… farmers and gun owners. Makes total sense, right?
