West ruled the state failed to exclude reasonable inferences of Yusuf’s innocence, such as his brother allegedly committing the fraud without his knowledge.
However, Experts deemed the post-verdict acquittal highly unusual, especially in white-collar cases. Minnesota AG Keith Ellison has appealed, nd the controversial woke judge is currently under Supreme Court review.
