Iran’s supreme leader has been killed after U.S. and Israel launched a military operation in the country, according to a multiple reports on Saturday.Abbas Araghchi, Iran’s foreign minister, had said earlier in an NBC News interview on Saturday that Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and President Masoud Pezeshkian are alive “as far as I know.”
The compound where Khamenei lives was reportedly hit during the operation.
It’s not clear the president has been killed as well.
