President Donald Trump joked on Friday that if he put Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, on the Supreme Court, it would get 100% of the vote.
While speaking to a crowd in Corpus Christi, Texas, about American energy, Trump jabbed at Cruz. The president theorizes that nominating the senator to the SCOTUS would earn “100% of the Democrat vote, 100% of the Republican vote” because everyone would be excited to “get him out of there.”
