Twenty-first-century America is in a state of emergency when it comes to dating. Young people find it increasingly difficult to pair up, leaving them—women especially—desperate and unhappy.
The New York Times put a number on this desperation and unhappiness. They reported that an NYC singles club catering to millennial professionals charges women $100 while admitting men for free. Even then, the male/female ratio in the room is one to three. No word on the number of successful outcomes.
