A supervisor with U.S. Customs and Border Protection is facing accusations of harboring an illegal alien that he was having a romantic relationship with at his home in Texas. Andres Wilkinson appeared in a federal courtroom where a judge ordered that he be held in custody until a detention hearing could be arranged. Wilkinson started working for the CBP in 2001.

He was promoted to a supervisory position in 2021, where he was tasked with overseeing enforcement of customs and immigration law.
