Khanna walks back list of 6 men ‘likely implicated’ in Epstein files

Rep. Ro Khanna, D-Calif., on Friday appeared to backtrack on his assertion that six men whom he named on the House floor as “likely implicated” in the Epstein files.Investigative reporter Jacqueline Sweet on Friday concluded that four of the men were part of an FBI lineup and not implicated in anyway. Khanna subsequently referenced her findings.
“I appreciate [Sweet]’s reporting confirming today that Salvatore Nuara, Zurab Mikeladze, Leonid Leonov, and Nicola Caputo were just part of a photo line up and are not connected to Epstein’s crimes,” Khanna said. “I wish DOJ had provided that explanation earlier instead of redacting then unredacting their names. They have failed to protect survivors, created confusion for innocent men, and have protected rich and powerful abusers. We must have full transparency and the truth.”
While two of the individuals he named, now-former DPWorld CEO Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem and Bath & Body Works co-founder Lex Wexner, were powerful, public figures, four of the men were unknowns. The four other men were named Salvatore Nuara, Zurab Mikeladze, Leonic Leonov, and Nicola Caputo.
