Authorities detain person for questioning in Nancy Guthrie disappearance: Report

The Pima County Sheriff’s Department reportedly detained an individual Tuesday for questioning in connection with the abduction of Nancy Guthrie, ABC News reported, just hours after the FBI released surveillance photos of a suspect.The identity and details about the person who was detained were not immediately clear, and the person has not been labeled a suspect so far. 
The person was detained in a location south of Tucson, a law enforcement source told the outlet, and law enforcement is preparing to search a location associated with the individual.
Nancy Guthrie, 84, has been missing since around noon Feb. 1 after she did not show up for virtual church services. She was last seen the previous night, around 9:45 p.m., after having dinner at her daughter Annie Guthrie’s home in Tucson, Ariz., according to the Pima County Sheriff’s Office.
Recent footage showed an armed and masked individual who appeared to have tampered with the camera at Nancy Guthrie’s front door the morning of her disappearance. Investigators previously found that the home’s doorbell camera was disconnected early on Feb. 1 and that software data recorded movement at the home minutes later, but Nancy Guthrie did not have an active subscription, so the footage had not been recoverable.
