Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) latest roundup of illegal aliens brought in an array of criminal offenders, including a pedophile, a sex offender, and even a burglar.Since President Donald Trump returned to the White House, ICE has prioritized the “worst of the worst” criminal offenders for targeted immigration enforcement. The roundups have become the feature of its “Worst of the Worst” series, with the administration hoping to highlight the felonious past of many illegal entrants. In announcing the latest haul, Department of Homeland Security Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin condemned sanctuary city policies for hampering the agency’s apprehension of such figures.
“Sanctuary city policies prevent information sharing and prevent our law enforcement from being notified of a criminal illegal aliens release from jail. These are just a few of the criminals our ICE law enforcement risked their lives to arrest yesterday: pedophiles, sex offenders, and murderers across the country yesterday,” she said. “Nothing will stop ICE law enforcement from removing criminals from American communities. When you see an ICE law enforcement officer, thank them for risking their lives to make your neighborhoods safer.”
Topping the roundup this week was Jose Guzman of Mexico, who was previously convicted of lewd of lascivious acts with a child under 14-years-old.

Jose Marco Hernandez of El Salvador was previously convicted of a third-degree sex offense.
