Amidst growing urgency for Congress to protect election integrity, the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAFE) Act has been updated, at President Donald Trump’s suggestion, to require photo ID.
Senator Mike Lee (R-UT) and Congressman Chip Roy (R-TX) have introduced the SAVE America Act which would require both proof of citizenship and a voter ID requirement nationwide.
