A Minnesota woman who was convicted in one of the state’s largest fraud schemes recently did an interview from jail where she alleges that Democratic Gov. Tim Walz and Attorney General Keith Ellison were both aware of the widespread fraud long before federal prosecutors got involved. The fraudster, Aimee Bock, who formerly ledthe nonprofit organization Feeding Our Future, sat down for a conversation with Fox News from the Sherburne County Jail where she claimed state officials kept approving and paying claims even after concerns were raised about the potential for fraud.

During the interview, Bock said that the state approved program sponsors and was also responsible for looking into claims; however, officials neglected their duty to investigate or stop suspicious companies after she flagged them. “I honestly believe Keith Ellison and Gov. Walz need to be held accountable. There needs to be an investigation done. If they weren’t aware, that’s concerning,” she said.
