In response to Title IX Complaints filed by Family Institute of Connecticut Action, the U.S. Department of Education Office of Civil Rights announced on January 14 that it will conduct an investigation of Waterbury Public Schools. If you have been following our blog, you know that we filed a complaint in September 2025 and updated it. In our complaints, sent to all the schools in the Naugatuck Valley Athletic League, we informed each school that they were violating Title IX, harming their girls and were putting their federal funding at risk.
