    ER Editor: The theatre that is the French government groans on. Are we still on the same PM as a month ago? Yes, but does anybody care? Mercosur allegedly got signed after a mere 25 years. People are taking that seriously, even though we believe it is the latest staged thing. That, plus the prospect of holding local and national elections at the same time. But French people we know are now well tuned into the uselessness that is the political class. For these people, that never used to be the case.

    Meanwhile, this morning, the 13th, a convoy of tractors planned to be in the city between 6 and 7am for a protest outside the Parliament.

    Translation: ALERT – Farmers entered Paris this morning. The first tractors have arrived in front of the National Assembly (Parliament)
