The U.S. seized another sanctioned oil tanker in the Caribbean Sea on Friday, according to the military.Sanctioned oil tankers traveling to and from Venezuela have been targeted for seizure by the U.S. military, with this tanker being the fifth, The Associated Press reported.
The Marines and Navy conducted the seizure before dawn, which was part of the months-long buildup of forces in the Caribbean, according to U.S. Southern Command, which said “there is no safe haven for criminals” as it announced the seizure of the vessel called the Olina.
