The letter, sent by the Lord Chamberlain on the king’s behalf, strips away any ambiguity that might have lingered around the Duke and Duchess of Sussex as they settle back into life on British soil. Harry and Meghan will not use their “His or Her Royal Highness” titles. They will not function as working members of the royal family.
