The left loves to crow about how conservatives ban books, equating the removal of gay pornography from elementary school libraries to the Nazi book burnings of the 1930s. But one look at their real-life practices, and you’ll see that the liberals are the real book banners of our time. Amazon, run by notably left-of-center executives, has a history of banning books that they don’t want the public to have easy access to. The latest of these books was Mark Dice’s bestseller, The War on Conservatives, which was recently banned from the site but then restored after the company received backlash.
In his YouTube video discussing the ban, Dice, an independent media analyst, explained that the book “wasn’t just banned. It was dumped down the memory hole, preventing [him] from listing copies, preventing anybody who read the book from listing used copies for sale on the Amazon marketplace, deleting the thousands of five-star ratings, the hundreds of written reviews, making it as if the book just never even existed.”
