Authorities announced Monday the second pilot in a midair helicopter collision Sunday in Southern New Jersey also has died.They also identified the pilots as Kenneth Kirsch, 65, and Michael Greenberg, 71.
They were friends who both lived in New Jersey and would often have breakfast together at a café near the crash site, according to the Associated Press.
Authorities said in a statement that statements from witnesses “had the two helicopters flying close together just before the crash,” less than two miles from the airport in a farm field.
