She’s also backed by the communist Working Families Party, Unite Here, SEIU, and the Washington Teachers Union.
George, a member of DSA, has co-sponsored a 2023 resolution to remove Cuba from the State Sponsors of Terrorism list and lift the U.S. embargo.
