Repeal 79, the direct repeal of the abortion amendment from the Colorado Constitution, received a win at the Colorado Supreme Court on June 4, 2026.
The Colorado Life Initiative State Task Force has been preparing since the last election cycle to collect signatures for the 2026 ballot. Proponents from Colorado Life Initiative and Pastors For Life made nine attempts through the state process, including three appeals, and two separate Colorado Supreme Court cases.
