Jean Carroll, who is facing a serious Department of Justice investigation into her over lies she told about the funding for her legal attacks against President Donald J. Trump. Particularly, it had been discovered that billionaire Democratic donor Reid Hoffman, co-founder of LinkedIn, was involved in funding her legal attacks on Trump.
Such is what reports into the new DOJ investigation have revealed, with federal investigators reportedly examining a non-profit linked to Hoffman, American Future Republic, over claims that it helped cover Carroll’s civil litigation efforts against the president. Such is pertinent because, when being deposed, she claimed not to be receiving outside funding to help with the legal fight.
