Dozens of gunshots were reportedly heard near the White House on Saturday night. The incident resulted in a lockdown and the U.S. Secret Service is responding to the incident. FBI Director Kash Patel said law enforcement is on the scene.
The shots were reportedly fired at the corner of 17th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue Northwest.
Members of the press ran into the White House briefing room.
